  • Lindsey Olson has qualified for the 2008 Olympic Trials in three events. She was named a Scholastic All-American swimmer and has received a scholarship to swim at the University of South Carolina, joining her brother Nick. Nick is currently the fastest Gamecock swimmer in the 50 freestyle.
  • Former Parkshore swimmer and coach Molly Ball is in graduate school at UCLA.
  • Former swimmer and coach Brad Blake is the swim coach, assistant wrestling coach, and a math teacher at West Ashley High School and is the head coach for the Shadowmoss Sharks swim team again this season.
  • Former swimmer Robert Beshere is working on his Ph.D. in English Renaissance Literature, specifically in the works of Shakespeare, at UNC-Greensboro.
  • Former coach Nichole Carlton is in her second year of medical school at MUSC.
  • Ashley Haselden Maveety works with McHale Corporation in Knoxville, Tennessee, and has worked on projects in Russia, China, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico. Ashley's husband James is obtaining his master's degree in architecture from the University of Tennessee.
  • Leeann Haselden completed an internship with Dolphin's Plus in the summer of 2007 in Key Largo, Florida and hopes to continue with this type of work in the future.  She is in her senior year of Marine Biology at College of Charleston and plans to do master's work.
  • Julie Haselden Smith is married to Craig Smith, whom she met in New Zealand, and has a one year old daughter, Bayle, who is adored by grandmom and grandpa Haselden every day!  Mrs. Frances and Mr. Buddy look forward to this new future Piranha joining the team when she's old enough, and will be back poolside at Parkshore for meets in two years.
